The good thing about these is that you can practically add any spice or seasoning you like AND you
can use regular potatoes if you don’t fancy sweet…
What you'll need..
1 potato
seasoning
a pinch of salt
olive oil
Method
Grate your potato using a cheese grater, the trick with these is to make sure you squeeze out as much moisture as you can. Ideally use a cheese cloth but who even has one of these lying around? So use a tea towel instead, give it a right goooood squeeze!
Chuck this into a bowl, add some olive oil and your chosen seasoning and then shape into a circle in a frying pan, cook these slow and steady (around 5-6 mins on each side), stick them on a plate and add your favourite dip, or even a poached egg, homemade hash browns!
