Ordering

If you’re a subscriber, you can visit the ‘my account’ section of the website and select ‘swaps’ and swap any items that you don’t want. All swaps must be made by Monday at midday for delivery that week. The swap is only valid for that box.

You can do this in the ‘swaps’ section of ‘my account’. Any extra items ordered are valid for that box only and won’t be part of your regular subscription. 

Simply click on ‘my account’ and then ‘register’. Once you’re registered you’ll be able to set up a weekly, fortnightly or monthly subscription. 

Yes! Please put in the delivery address of where you want to send it to and include a note to say that it’s a gift and whether or not you want it to be gift wrapped. Gift wrapping is free of charge. 

On a Friday we’ll email you to say that the contents of the boxes for the week ahead have been decided. At this point, you can login to your account and add any swaps or extra items. You can do this until Monday at midday. Any substitutes or extra items are only valid for that billing cycle.

Currently our delivery area encompasses Oldham, Saddleworth, Ashton, Tameside and surrounding Greater Manchester areas. We currently cover postcode areas; OL1 – OL9, SK14 – SK16, M34 and M43.

This is constantly expanding though so if you’re outside of our delivery area but do get in touch by emailing us on info@theveglord.co.uk.

The below delivery days are for subscription customers only. If ordering a one-off box, please choose your delivery day via the calendar at checkout.

For subscription boxes, delivery is completely free and the delivery days are listed above. For one-off boxes, you can choose your delivery day on the calendar at the checkout, depending on which option you choose will determine the fees that are applied.

0 – 3 miles: £2.50

We always aim to deliver our boxes before 6pm on your chosen day, however during peak times this may vary. 

We unfortunately cannot give a specified time for each delivery as our schedule can vary from week to week.

Offering a safe space or a neighbour for us to deliver to in case you are not available at the time we deliver is really handy for us!

Please note that we are unable to attempt a re-delivery, any orders that are unable to be delivered will be returned to the shop for collection. 

Should you require a redelivery, please contact us to arrange, surcharges may apply.

No problem! Please let us know where we should leave your box if you’re not in by putting a note on your order at checkout.  This can either be in a safe space or with a neighbour.

Please note we are unable to reattempt delivery, any undelivered boxes will be returned to the shop for collection.

The Shop

Our Mossley shop is open as follows:

Our Mossley shop is located at Warmco Industrial Estate, Manchester Road, Mossley, OL5 9RR. 

Find us on the left hand side as you drive into the car park. 

Alongside the shop, you can find our boxes ready to go at Lees Village Service Station.

Each Thursday and the fourth Sunday of the month you’ll find us on Shaw Market. Please do check our socials ahead of travelling to see us though. The British weather has been known to change plans before now! 

Not only can you collect from the shop but you can also collect from Lees Village Service Station and Shaw Market on one of our market days. 

Just pop a note in the collection information box at checkout so we know where you would like to collect your items from. 

Cash is our preferred method of payment, however we do also accept credit / debit cards as well as ApplePay and GooglePay.

Loyalty

For every £1 you spend, you’ll receive one point which is worth 1p. Once you reach 100 points, you can redeem them as £1 off your next order.

Points are added automatically to your account, whether you shop online or in person and can be found in the ‘My Account’, ‘Points & Rewards’ section. Points last for 3 months so please ensure you use them to get money off your orders.

We have a ‘refer a friend’ scheme for subscription box users. Your friend will get 20% off their order and you’ll get 20% back on the value of your subscription. You can find more details in the ‘My Account’, ‘Points & Rewards’ section of the website. 

Other offers will be added to the website in accordance with seasonal produce.

It’s really important that you do your veg admin! If you’re going away or need to pause for another reason, just login to your account and select pause.

If you need to take a break for a while, you can just pause your subscription in the “My Account’ area of the site. If you want to cancel altogether, visit the same section and click cancel. 

Community

Every week since we opened our doors in May 2022, we have made weekly donations to the Mossley foodbank. By shopping with us, you are also supporting the local community. 

Close
